Emma Hedrick, 24, is an award-winning jazz vocalist, composer, and bandleader. Emma is a seven-time DownBeat Student Music Award Winner in Jazz Voice. In 2023, Emma's compositions won semi-finalist in the International Songwriting Competition and Honorable Mention in the Jazz Education Network's Young Composer Showcase. In 2019, Emma placed third in the International Ella Fitzgerald Vocal Competition. Emma has performed at various national and international stages including the Telluride Jazz Festival (CO), the St. Petersburg Jazz Festival (FL), the Elkhart Jazz Festival (IN), and Indy Jazzfest (IN). She has also performed at The Jazz Kitchen (IN), The New World Symphony (Miami), The Baryshnikov Center (NYC), the Concertgebouw (Amsterdam), and Konzerthaus (Berlin). She will graduate from the Royal Conservatoire, the Hague in the Netherlands with a  Master's in Vocal Jazz in Summer 2024. In 2022, she graduated from Frost School of Music at the University of Miami.
